Lunes Tropical

First off, we want to thank all of those that came out and rocked out with us on Friday, for the first installment of The Takeover.  Myself, Select, and VMB, truly had a good time.  It would not have been possible without your attendance and support so big yourself up too.  Gotta send a special thank you to Milad and Leaha of the Crazy Hour Crew.  Leaha did an outstanding job of capturing the evening on camera.  Pictures will be available for viewing tomorrow so be sure and check back for the flickr url to view the slide show.  We also would like to say thank you to Nick and Ling of gigacrate.com for their continued support.  Finally big up to Jesse, Lee, and his girl who came in from out of town to get down with us.  We salute you.

Big up to my man Levi Sitters for once again blacking out on the flier and doing a stellar job.  If you ever need graphic work done, you should definitely get at him.  I will be playing salsa, merengue, and bachata with a little cumbia, reggaeton, and rock y pop en espanol mixed in for good measure.  Being that Colombian Independence Day also falls on 20 July 2009, I will be playing a special set of Colombian Salsa, Cumbia, and Vallenato for all of my niches.  So tell a friend, get your dancing shoes on, come out and get it in with DJ AV and host International Stro at Lunes Tropical.

On a more somber note, one of our good friends, Jeremiah Hays' younger sister passed away last week.  She would have been a senior at Baylor this year.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hays family and we would ask that you keep them in your prayers too.
