Joan Soriano Performs "Mujeres Ajenas" at LCC

So this past Saturday I caught Joan Soriano at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas. All I can say was that the show was incredible. Joan and his band were flawless. The crowd went bananas. Half way through the performance it turned into a party as the crowd jumped out there seats and began dancing. Joan and his band fed off the energy from the crowd too. His sister Griselda was one of the best dancers I have seen. She could have easily passed for Garifuna the way she moved. I bet she would have no problem getting down to Punta music. Anyway, here is some footage I shot at the performance.

Joan Soriano at Dallas LCC on 19 February 2011

So Joan Soriano will be performing at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas next Saturday, 19 February 2011. I am really excited to catch this performance being put on by the Dominican Society of Dallas. Joan is referred to as the "Duke of Bachata" Here is video of him performing. Next weeks show is one you definitely don't wanna miss.
