My man Baby G has been doing his Ring The Alarm monthly for a minute now. If you do not know. G is a pioneer on the Texas dj scene. He has been holding it down since the early 90's. I know a lot of new dj's just start off on Serato.  But I still feel that in order to consider yourself a complete dj, you need to have a tough vinyl collection.  My man Nick Nack put me on to record conventions back during my UT Austin days.  We used to hit up the Austin Record Convention at the Palmer Center and come away with jewels.

Big up to Leon The Professional and Niro for hipping me to this event.  I have to move that day but still plan on creeping by the event for a few hours.

Panama

So this past weekend myself, International Stro, and VMB had the chance to chill with my Panama. You may remember him as the character who harassed Bubbles all throughout Season IV of HBO's The Wire. Above are two of his videos. The first being Make It Last which can be seen currently on Music Choice, VH1, MTVU, and MTV2. The second video is Play Your Position Featuring Skyzoo. CE had the opportunity to show him around The Metroplex and show him some Texas hospitality. We took him to Kixpo which was cool. Shout out to Niro and crew. Then we crept by Zubar for a bit. Afterwards we ended up at Nylon.

Be on the lookout for Calidad Entertainment and Panama to be collaborating with one another in the future.

Big up to Milad and the 23MG Crew for coming out to chill too.
